๐ฅ AI Hardware Deals โ Updated When Genuine Price Drops Happen
We don’t post “deals” based on inflated reference prices. Every deal we publish is verified against 30-day price history โ if the price isn’t genuinely lower than it’s been, we don’t call it a deal. Check back regularly or subscribe to our newsletter to get deal alerts sent to your inbox.
How We Verify Deals โ Our Process
The word “deal” is overused in tech media. Most “deals” you see are products at their normal price with an inflated “was” price. Here’s exactly how we determine whether something is actually a deal before we post it:
- 30-day price check โ We verify the current price against the 30-day price history on Amazon and major retailers. The price must be below the 30-day average, not just below a fictitious MSRP.
- Product must be on our recommended list โ We only post deals on hardware we’ve evaluated and would recommend at full price. A mediocre product at 50% off is still a mediocre product.
- Stock check โ We verify stock availability before posting. A “deal” on a product that’s out of stock is useless.
- Time-sensitive flag โ We note whether the deal is a flash sale (hours), a limited sale (days), or a longer-term price reduction โ so you know how quickly you need to act.
Hardware Categories We Monitor for Deals
We track prices across every category we cover. These are the product types most likely to see meaningful price drops:
๐ฎ AI GPUs
RTX 4090, 4070 Ti Super, 4060 Ti 16GB. GPU prices fluctuate significantly after new generation launches โ the RTX 4090 dropped after the RTX 5090 release. These are the highest-value deals when they appear.
๐พ NAS Devices
Synology, QNAP, ASUSTOR units. NAS prices drop around major retail events (Prime Day, Black Friday) and when newer models launch. A Synology DS923+ at 15% off is genuinely worth acting on.
๐ฟ NAS Drives & SSDs
WD Red Plus, Seagate IronWolf, IronWolf 510 NVMe. Hard drive and SSD prices fluctuate with supply chain cycles โ 4TB NAS drives regularly see 20โ30% price swings.
๐ Networking Switches
TP-Link, Netgear, MikroTik 10GbE switches. Networking hardware has infrequent but significant price drops โ a 10GbE managed switch at 25% off is worth alerting subscribers about.
๐ค Mini PCs
Minisforum N5 Max, Mac Mini M4 Pro, Beelink SER9. Mini PC prices, especially from Chinese brands, vary significantly and frequently โ worth monitoring if you’re in the market.
๐ฅ๏ธ AI Workstation Components
PSUs, DDR5 RAM, NVMe SSDs for workstation builds. Component prices shift with retail cycles. High-capacity DDR5 and NVMe frequently see meaningful price drops.
